Additionally the group provides support in the areas of biostatistics, and genomics.
We are currently looking for a person to join this group as a Bioinformatics Officer to provide: analysis support for high-throughput data; functional annotation; and develop methods of presentation of results. You should possess: a degree in a subject area relevant to bioinformatics, in depth knowledge of molecular biology, genetics and analysis techniques for genomic data; ability to program; and be able to illustrate current relevant experience. Good knowledge of software and data resources such as the Genome Browsers would be advantageous.
