Background:
Agendia is a young company in the emerging field of biotechnology and a world leader in gene expression analysis-based diagnostics. Agendia is one of the few companies in the world to use micro array technology for clinical diagnostics purposes. We are part of the changing field of medicine moving towards personalised medicine. By analysing the genetic properties of a tumour, Agendia is able to unlock essential information about a patient's risks of cancer recurrence and spread, response to chemotherapy or primary location of an unknown tumour. This information can assist oncologists and physicians to design individualised treatment plans which may enhance a patient's prognosis. Agendia is an enthusiastic and fast growing organisation, focused on quality results, scientific initiative and improving patient prognosis.
