BACKGROUND:
As part of the vision for developing the Centre, two positions are available for data analysts to develop quantitative approaches to studying gene expression. You will join existing staff in a new Data Analysis facility headed by Professor of Bioinformatics, Geoff Barton (http://www.compbio.dundee.ac.uk/).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will provide support for computational analysis of data-intensive "wet" biological research particularly in the areas of proteomics and image analysis.
REQUIREMENTS:
We are looking for mathematicians, bioinformaticians, computer scientists, programmers or physicists with strong programming and data analysis skills and with a minimum of three-years experience of computational methods applied in a research environment.
TERMS:
These positions are available for two years in the first instance.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:
£34,793 - £41,545
