The meeting will take place in Valencia, 13-15th of February 2008, within the facilities of the Centro de Investigaciones Principe Felipe.

This event is co-organized by the two institutions which are currently coordinating the Spanish Network in Bioinformatics: Centro de Investigaciones Príncipe Felipe and Universitat Pompeu Fabra.

This year we will include 8 different thematic areas, ranging from basic developments in bioinformatics towards biomedical applications or systems biology, plus an additional breaking results short contributions session. In addition, a small workshop on training of Bioinformatics in Spain is included in the program. Finally, Tutorials will be provided about standard and innovative tools for systems biology.
