Cranfield University is looking for an exceptional graduate to pursue an Engineering Doctorate in biomarker discovery informatics. This entirely computer-based project will focus on the development of new algorithms and software for the identification of biomarkers and other commercially relevant targets from various forms of proteomic data. The project will be carried out within Cranfield’s bioinformatics group, which is internationally recognised for its work in proteomic bioinformatics and multivariate data analysis. At Cranfield, the EngD student will work with postdoctoral researchers employed on related projects, and alongside a number of other bioinformatics doctoral students.
