News FeedThe Bioinformaticians, who are usually biologists or biochemists with strong programming skills, contribute to the maintenance and development of the databases in the EBI’s Protein and Nucleotide Database Group (PANDA).
The selected candidate will be responsible for the analysis and annotation of sequence data using UNIX-based software tools, the extraction of biological information from scientific literature or databases using high-throughput methods and the development of new analysis and annotation tools. In addition to these activities, the incumbent will contribute to the development of the group’s external services and develop internal and external software specifications.
