The Ensembl project (http://www.ensembl.org) is the world-wide leader in this task. Ensembl is a joint project between the EBI and the Sanger Institute, funded by the Wellcome Trust. We have one of the world’s largest dedicated computer resources for genomic analysis. We constantly need to extend and adapt the system to cope with new data sources, and are looking for developers to join this exciting project.
